Island Stainless and Aluminum Design Ltd. offers their clients, consistent and quality made replacement parts for Transit Bus Services.  Our first customer was the BC Transit Service in Victoria BC .  With their assistance we made an AutoCad set of drawings of their parts in the form of a catalog to insure their parts were made the same each time they were ordered.  With this system all they have to do is Fax us a Purchase Order with part numbers and quantity and then we pull the drawing, make the parts and then ship their order to them.  Some of the products we make for them are Stainless Steel battery boxes, Aluminum Ad frames, Replacement Bus panels, Stainless Steel headlight rings and Bus Driver Storage Lockers.  Working with BC Transit we are finding that they are requiring us to build replacement parts out of Stainless Steel that has come from the factory made of mild steel and painted.  These parts were not having a long life span rusting out in a short amount of time, so instead of replacing them with inferior parts again we fabricate new parts for them made out of Stainless Steel which doesn’t rust.
